2018 ARCHIVE: GOODNESS GRACIOUS, WHAT A GREAT GREAZEFEST!!

7 August 2018

Goodness gracious, what a great GreazeFest!!

The kustom kulture festival has hit another high as the weekend blossomed into a cornucopia of style and colour at Redland Showgrounds. With spectacular weather over three days, the blue sky provided a perfect backdrop to the fins and chrome dazzling in the sunlight. All of your fav’ kustom kulture attractions were up for grabs, including hot rods, bikes and classics, tiki carving, art displays and the Kult of Tiki art show, pinstriping, tattooing, barbering and stylists, pinup parades, koool markets, lowriders, djs, dancing, and many of the best live bands in the world!

Many of you are calling our 19th GreazeFest the best one ever! It was great to see so many new faces from all around Australia and New Zealand, as well as our special guests from the UK, USA and Japan. The audience was notably dressed to the nines, and not just our rocker community, everyone was using GreazeFest as a chance to spruce up and step out in style for both the day and the night time.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the GreazeFest again this year. Congratulations to those of you who took home trophies, awards and prizes. A big thank you to the Redland City Council for sponsoring our event. Thanks to the hot rodders, riders and clubs. Thanks to our talented musicians and djs. Thanks to Darrel Higham and all the musos involved with his Oz tour. Thanks to the artists, plus Krazy Dotty, Von Hot Rod and Shawn Dickinson. Thanks to our beautiful pinups and everyone involved in the parades. Thank you to our photographers. Thanks to our koool market vendors and food truckers. Massive thanks go to our dedicated Robot Productions crew and those behind the scene, who worked tirelessly to bring you an exciting and unique event.

Long live kustom kulture and long live the GreazeFest!

The dates for next year are August 2, 3 & 4, 2019.

PS, it will be our 20th anniversary!
