Ezra Lee

Ezra Lee is Australia's wildest piano player, with an original style that's steeped in rumbling boogie woogie, low down blues and untamed rockabilly.

His first recordings were released on Preston Records, ‘ Out Of The Valley’ and ‘You Can’t Stop A Freight Train’. In 2012 Ezra Lee recorded Cashed Up ‘n’ Crazy and performed in the UK and Europe and recorded his latest album Coal Fired Man in Berlin for Rhythm Bomb Records.

Ezra Lee has toured extensively and played with many legends and modern performers alike. In 2010 Ezra performed at the Screamin’ Festival in Spain, along with Bill Haley’s Original Comets. Ezra Lee performed in the Sun Records stage show with James Blundell, Nick Barker, Dave Larkin and Doug Parkinson. In 2011 Ezra Lee performed at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend in Las Vegas, on the same bill as Jerry Lee Lewis.

Ezra Lee and his band opened for and backed The Queen Of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson on her six date Australian tour. Ezra is also the boogie piano player in the original pub rock band The Heartbrokers, alongside Van Walker, Jeff Lang, Cal Walker and Ashley Davies.

Ezra Lee continues to tour internationally and record, recently releasing the album Cryin At The Wheel.
