Frequently Asked Questions Are all events being held at Rocklea Showgrounds? Yes, all GreazeFest events are held at Rocklea Showgrounds. Friday night and Saturday night will be held in the Rocklea Showground Bar. The hot rod show on Sunday will all be on the Show Ring and the South Field at the Showground. Rockabilly Nights: Is there a dance floor at the new venue? Absolutely. There will be a dance floor in front of both the indoor and the outdoor stages at GreazeFest. Is there seating for the rockabilly nights in the Showground Bar? Yes, there'll be regular tables and chairs set up, just like the usual rockabilly gigs held by Lori Lee. Can I reserve a table at the evening shows? No. We are not holding tables for patrons. Once you are at the venue, it is 'best in, best dressed' for table spots. Will tickets sell out? Yes. The Friday night and Saturday nights have limited numbers and always sell out. The Hot Rod Show on Sunday will not sell out, but we suggest to get your tickets in advance to receive the discount. How do I pay for tickets? Visit the Ticket page for details. I haven't received my tickets, where are they? All tickets are posted within 5 days of ordering. If you haven't received your tickets, please email gf@robot.com.au to find out why. Hot Rod Show: What cars are permitted into the Hot Rod Show? Preferred vehicles are: Is the Hot Rod Show sanctioned? The GreazeFest Hot Rod Show will have an A.S.R.F. Travel Permit, which means that all ASRF class vehicles can travel to these events. If you are an ASRF hot rodder, you'll know what this means to you. Do I have to pre-register my vehicle? Yes. All show vehicles must pre-register to display their vehicle/s in the Show Ring. Please visit the Car Show page for complete details. Can I leave the Hot Rod Show early? Only in an emergency. All show vehicles must remain stationary between 9am and 4pm. Please visit the Car Show page for complete details. Is there a cost for entering my vehicle? Yes, the driver pays an entry fee for him or herself, there is no additional cost for the vehicle. Complete details are on the Ticket page. Is there a car show on Saturday? No. The car show event is on Sunday only. We usually have a car cruise on Saturday afternoon, check the main page for details. Can I bring my dog? No. Is there camping on site? No. Strictly no camping on the grounds. What happens if it rains? In the rare event of rain - it is always sunny for GreazeFest weekend - but in case you were wondering, all events still go ahead. There is ample undercover area for patrons. How do I enter in the GreazeFest Art Show? It's easy. You can be part of the art show by displaying your latest creation, be it pinstriped, carved, pined up, automotive or tattoo inspired. Simply bring up to three pieces (fewer if they are oversized) in a ready to hang condition, to GreazeFest on Sunday at 9am. We'll have GreazeForce members there to hang your artwork and we'll have display cards for you to complete. Can my kids come to GreazeFest? Friday and Saturday nights are 18s only. Sunday hot rod show is an 'all-ages' day. The Hot Rod Show features two live music stages: Children under 15 are free to enter the GreazeFest, if they are with a paying adult. Are there any kids activites? Yes, there will be a kids zone with rides in the South Field in the Showground. Why didn't my band play at GreazeFest? The weekend entertainment schedule is tight and not everyone gets to play at GreazeFest. We simply can't fit all the bands in.
