Can you give
me more information on the Kitten Katwalk? |
Coming up this year is the inaugural Kitten
Katwalk at GreazeFest. This is an opportunity for all you cats and kittens
to strut your stuff and be part of a visual spectacular showcasing the
diverse range of kustom kulture looks. You may wish to show an outfit,
your tattoos, your beehive or whatever mode mood you’re in.
Simply visit Penelope at the GreazeFest
market stall on Sunday morning to register for the parade. Then meet
Penelope on the dance floor at 1.50pm, as she assembles the kittens to
strut on the catwalk by 2pm.
The Katwalk is open to all ages and
genders.
Each person will have about 1 minute of
stage time individually.
Each entrant walks up to the Katwalk and
over to the two hosts - Limpin' Jimmy & The Swingin' Kitten, who will
introduce you to the audience.
The entire parade then walks back along the
Katwalk as a group.
The prizes will be awarded by audience
response.
The prizes include a professional photo
shoot with Matt Black from TCB Magazine, plus a hair and make-up session
by Mizzbehave, plus Pin-up Parlour gift packs 'For the kitten that likes
to dress up' as well as plenty of GreazeFest goodies. Meow.

What happens
if it rains? |
In the rare event of
rain - it is always sunny for GreazeFest weekend - but in case you
were wondering, here's what we do:
Evening Balls - all
go ahead with no changes.
Street Cruise - meet
at Eliminators, decision made on conditions.
Hot Rod Show - if we
have light rain, there is no need to make any changes, just take
shelter until it passes. If there is an absolute downpour, we follow
the precident set by the Australia Day Hot Rod Show and park the hot
rods on the asphalt and all higher areas. If it is unsafe for the
outdoor stage, the music and the kitten katwalk is moved inside,
where there is room for 1000 people over the upstairs and downstairs
areas.

|
How does the cruise work? |

the Eliminators Clubhouse by approximately 2pm. All makes of vintage cars

How do I enter my lowbrow art
in the art show? |
It's easy. You can be part of the art show
by displaying your latest creation, be it pinstriped, carved, pined up,
automotive or tattoo inspired. Your art can be at garage standard or art
studio standard. It’s up to you. Simply bring up to three pieces (fewer if
they are real big) in a ready to hang condition, to GreazeFest on
Sunday at 9am. We'll have GreazeForce members there to hang your artwork
and we'll have display cards for you to complete.

|
Is the hot rod show
sanctioned? |
The GreazeFest Hot Rod

means that all ASRF class vehicles can travel to these events. If you are
an ASRF hot rodder, you'll know what this means to you.

vehicle? |
No. Just register your vehicle at the

Can I reserve a table? |
No.
Due to complications every year with table bookings, the tables
for the evening Balls are now unreserved. This means that the tables and
seats will be in the room, but it is up to the patron to secure their own
table on the night of the Ball.
In addition to the tables, there is scattered seating, lounges, stools,
tables, dry bars and other rest areas for patrons.

Will tickets sell out? |
Yes. Both the Sinners Ball and the Greazers
Ball will sell out. The Hot Rod Show on Sunday will

Why didn't my band play at GreazeFest? |
The weekend entertainment schedule is tight
and not everyone gets to play at GreazeFest. We simply can't fit all the
bands in.
