The Detonators [Vic]
You asked for 'em and you got 'em, The Detonators are heading to
GreazeFest for their only Queensland show in who knows how long.
The Detonators are
out to prove their credentials as one of Australia’s best live acts and
are visiting GreazeFest as part of their ‘Live at The East’ album tour.
Recorded one hot, steamy night last December 2007, at the East Brunswick
Club in Melbourne, the album highlights the strength of the songwriting,
the quality of the grooves and the personalities that make up the motoring
muscle of this act.
The Detonators’ only Brisbane show will be at The Greazers' Ball on
Saturday night and they'll be
playing two full throttle sets for you - one
before midnight and one after midnight. Can you go the distance?

Checkered Fist [NSW]
Checkered Fist is a
young, psychobilly trio from the central coast of New South Wales.
Now, when I say young, dig the ages of these cats - Julian (lead
guitar, 15 years old), Jake (drums, 14 years old), and Damon (double
bass, 11 years old). But, this isn’t some novelty act, these dudes
seriously rock! They already have an EP of original tunes
